Anna Reid has been interested in the circular economy for a few years now after discovering the Ellen McArthur Foundation; she writes in her Linkedin article:

The concept of circular design and systems makes a lot of sense to me. From what I've learnt, it could be one of the models that helps us shift our human-made world into something more akin to how nature works.

XLabs LIVE is run by Circularity, a circular design agency founded by Louise Nash. I met Louise a couple of years ago when she appeared on Tech Futures Lab’s podcast The Impact Series. She struck me as someone with not just passion but a real drive to make some waves in the circular design space here in Aotearoa New Zealand.
